As an Armenian start-up, Wagon (WAGON LLC) not only complies with the Armenian local privacy laws but also strives for best international practice.
The users and drivers/providers of the service grant their consent for the processing of personal data during the installation of the Wagon and Wagon Pro apps.
Wagon and Wagon Pro apps only collect and process the personal data submitted by the users in the course of installation and use of the Wagon and Wagon Pro apps.
A user’s disclosure of the geographical location data is a precondition for using the Wagon service.
Below you can find how Wagon collects and uses personal data.
1. The personal data we collect and process?
- Name, telephone number, e-mail address, feedback ratings and payment information of the app user;
- Geographical location of the Wagon/Wagon Pro user, the time of provision of Wagon’s service, and the destination;
- Identification data of the device on which the Wagon/Wagon Pro app has been installed;
- Wagon.am website’s cookies save the website user’s telephone number and geographic location data.
- For quality assurances purposes calls may also be monitored or recorded.
2. Why the personal data is collected
- The personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of matching up a Wagon user with a provider of the service;
- The data on geographic location and telephone number of the Wagon user is forwarded to the service provider for the provider to decide whether the potential Wagon user is located nearby and whether to provide the service to this user;
- The personal data of the Wagon user is utilized to resolve any service quality issues between Wagon and the service provider;
- The contact details are used to notify customers of updates to the Wagon service;
- The data on the routes taken by the Wagon service users are collected to analyse the geographic coverage of the service in order to make recommendations to the service providers;
- The personal data collected via the Wagon app will not be used for identification of persons or their locations, nor for the purpose of behavioural marketing.
3. Personal data collection method
- During the process of Wagon/Wagon Pro app installation the data on the names, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of Wagon users is collected.
- Only the data on the geographic location is collected if the Wagon/Wagon Pro app has been activated;
- The collection of geographic location data stops after the Wagon/Wagon Pro app is closed in the user’s device.
4. Personal data disclosure to third parties
- The personal data of Wagon users is only disclosed to those service providers who have activated the Wagon/Wagon Pro app; in this case, they will see the geographic location only of the person who made an order;
- The feedback on the quality of the service is anonymous and service providers do not receive information on the names and telephone numbers of the persons who provided feedback;
- We will not disclose the personal data or geographic locations of Wagon users to any third parties or public authorities, except if the person requesting data has a legal basis for doing so pursuant to the legislation of the country of location.
- Wagon uses a third party (Ameriabank) to keep a protected copy of Clients’ and Drivers’ credit card information.
5. Security and deletion of data
- Any personal data collected in the course of providing the Wagon service is stored in the data centres. Only authorised employees of Wagon LLC have access to the personal data and they may access the data only for the purpose of resolving issues associated with the use of the Wagon service;
- If a Wagon user would like to delete the personal data collected via the app, he can do so by submitting a written request to our customer support via

6. Privacy Policy Changes
- This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. These updates, will take effect from the date of issue. Please check back regularly for the latest updates.
7. Personal data of drivers/providers
- We only collect and process personal data of Wagon drivers to the extent necessary for verifying the driver’s qualifications for pursuing this professional activity and safeguarding the contractual relations associated with the Wagon service. We do not disclosure the personal data of Wagon drivers to third parties.
- Using the Wagon Pro app, a service operator can see the geographic location of a driver, information on dispatches and the times of using the service. If a driver would like for his or her geographic location not to be visible via the Wagon app, he can disable/delete the Wagon Pro app.
